Jørn O. Jøntvedt

Jørn O. Jøntvedt

Jørn O. Jøntvedt is a Norwegian contemporary artist, based in Oslo. And his art is described as "post modern, romantic, landscape, shit".

Jørn is strongly inspired by nature, and in his pictures you often find either mountains, forests or both. He likes to play with different materials, from wood, acrylic, old car lights, materials from boats, plaster, etc. When he works with wood, he carves out the motifs by hand. This is a process that takes many working hours. But the most important thing for Jørn is to get a good result.

Jørn creates both paintings, large sculptures and installations. He has his art education from the Norwegian School of Arts and Crafts, and the School of Visual Arts from New York. Since then he has done several different art projects. In 2022 he had a solo exhibition with us in gallery M35, and a year later, in November 2023, we are lucky enough to show 21 new works of art by this exciting artist.

The art exhibition from 2022 has been digitized and can be viewed here .
