Jørn O. Jøntvedt

Jørn O. Jøntvedt (b. 1965) is a Norwegian contemporary artist. He received his art education from the National College of Art and Design, and the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Jørn is strongly inspired by nature, and in his artworks you will often find either mountains, forests or both. He enjoys experimenting with various materials, from wood, acrylic, old car headlights, materials from boats, and plaster. When he works with wood, he carves the motifs by hand. This is a process that takes many hours to complete.
