Bjørge Rødfjell mainly works with oil painting, interpreting figurative expression with expressionist emotions and impressions from past, present, and future. His paintings are often dominated by portraits of people conveying clear messages through their choice of motif, background, words, and colors. Through his education, he has acquired solid knowledge of the techniques, materials, and methods used in old classical paintings, which he largely incorporates into his own work. He often combines these techniques with modern painting techniques and elements from street art and pop art in his artwork.
