A journey from within, original work

Bjørge Rødfjell primarily works with oil painting and interprets figurative expression with expressionistic feelings and impressions from the past, present, and future. His paintings are often dominated by portraits of people with clear messages conveyed through the choice of subject, background, words, and colors. Through his education, he has acquired solid knowledge of techniques, materials, and methods used in old classical paintings, and he largely employs these in his own work. He often combines these techniques with modern painting techniques and elements from street art and pop art in his artworks.
