Bjørge Rødfjell primarily works with oil painting and interprets figurative expression with expressionistic emotions and impressions from the past, present, and future. His paintings are often dominated by portraits of people conveying clear messages through their choice of subject, background, words, and colors. Through his education, he has acquired solid knowledge of the techniques, materials, and methods used in old classical paintings, and he extensively employs these in his own work. He often combines these techniques with modern painting techniques and elements from street art and pop art in his artworks.
