The art print “East of the sun, West of the moon” by the Norwegian graffiti artist Salke1, signed and numbered in a limited edition. All prints are hand-colored by Salke1 and will therefore be unique. The print is available in two different sizes and is printed on two different media:

  • Matte 308-gram art paper – edition of 15
  • 340-gram canvas – edition of 5.
The artwork is inspired by Theodor Kittelsen’s “Kvitebjørn Kong Valemon,” created for the fairy tale “East of the Sun and West of the Moon” from Asbjørnsen and Moe’s collection of fairy tales. This is graffiti artist Salke1’s own interpretation.

Framing:
The canvas print is delivered fully framed with a black frame.

For shippments in The Nordic countries + Germany: Prints on paper and canvas are sent in tubes and cost 450 Norwegian kroner (approx. 40 euro).

For shippments in the rest of Europe: Prints on paper and canvas are sent in tubes and cost 550 Norwegian kroner (approx. 47 euro).

Salke1

Christoffer Henriksen, also known as Salke1 (b.1997), is a Norwegian street and pop artist. Christoffer started creating art at the age of 10 and has since developed his artistic style. He primarily works with spray paint on canvas but also uses markers and acrylics. In addition, he also creates light installations and sculptures.
