Lea Alstad

Lea Alstad (b. 2000) is a young Norwegian contemporary artist. In her paintings, she addresses the complexity of the human being, portraying both face and body. The body paintings are inspired by anatomical drawings, where she captures muscle fibers and contours using brushstrokes and colors. In her portraits, she works layer by layer with various media, including acrylic, oil, ink, and watercolor. This creates a variation in texture and a blend of abstraction and realism.
