The fine art print "The one and only" by Norwegian photographer and adventurer Tormod Granheim, signed and numbered in a limited edition. The art print is available in three different sizes, printed on Hahnemühle Baryta fine art 325 gsm high-gloss paper.

Edition and size:
110 x 110 cm - 4 copies in edition.
60 x 60 cm - 8 copies in edition.
35 x 35 cm - 12 copies in edition.

Framing:
The 100 x 100 cm art print comes framed with a black trim and art glass, without a passe-partout. The smaller art prints are supplied unframed. Please email us at post@m35.no or add a comment when ordering if you would like "The one and only" framed in sizes 60 x 60 cm and 35 x 35 cm.

Background:
Aiguille du Midi. No other mountain has influenced or shaped me more than this peak, not to mention the ski lift, which is two minutes from the apartment I bought in Chamonix in 2004.

The snow patch to the right is a small part of the 1200-meter-high wall, and this very patch was first visited by the same George L. Mallory who five years later, in 1924, encountered the summit of Mount Everest and disappeared among the clouds high on the mountain.

The route Mallory followed became a legendary test piece when three skiers descended the 55-60 degree steep line. I myself thought that skiing it would be the most extreme thing I could accomplish on a pair of planks.

Instead, the experience opened new doors.

ART FEE

Art tax of 5% is included in the price of all works over NOK 2,000. There is no art fee for works priced below NOK 2,000.
FREIGHT

Kunsttrykk på kunstpapir sendes i rør med posten og koster 139 kroner. Kunsttrykk på canvas i liten størrelse sendes med posten og koster 249 kroner. Fra den sendes tar det 2 til 5 virkedager. Av hensyn til kvalitet og miljø fører vi ikke store lager med print, og flere trykkes ved bestilling. Kunsttrykk må da signeres og nummereres av kunsteren. Det kan dermed ta opp mot 1 uke før kunstverket sendes med posten. Ved ytterligere forsinkelser vil du motta beskjed.

For malerier, stor kunsttrykk på canvas, aluminium og kunsttrykk som er innrammet med glass må disse sendes med privatsjåfør og leveres på dør. Dette koster fra 1100 kroner. Hvilket fylke du bor i avgjør prisen og du velger fylke ved utsjekk.

Tormod Granheim

Tormod's journey into art began with a childhood dream of photographing skiing. The dream led him to Chamonix, where he initially stood behind the camera, but soon found himself captivated by the mountain's steep lines. Through expeditions and lectures for businesses, the Norwegian Armed Forces, and NATO, he has lived in close proximity to the mountains for decades. After Everest, new projects followed – including becoming the first Nordic climber to ascend all 82 peaks over 4000 meters in the Alps.
