The DGA art print "Pikachu with a Hat" by the Norwegian graffiti artist Salke1, signed and numbered in a limited edition. The print comes in two different sizes and is printed on two different mediums:

  • Matte 308-gram art paper - edition of 15
  • Canvas 340-gram - edition of 5, hand-colored by Salke

Framing:
The canvas print comes framed with a black frame.

About the artwork:
"It started with Pikachu, inspired by the Pokémon card "Pikachu with a Gray Felt Hat". From there, I moved away from the idea of a card and treated it as a painting instead.

The Pokémon card itself is inspired by Van Gogh's Self-Portrait with Gray Felt Hat, and this work continues that line of inspiration. The image and brushstrokes are clearly influenced by his style of painting, with built-up, directional strokes that form the shape." - Salke1

Christoffer Henriksen, also known as Salke1 (b.1997), is a Norwegian street and pop artist. Christoffer started with art at the age of 10 and has since developed his artistic style. He primarily works with spray paint on canvas, but also uses markers and acrylics. In addition, he creates light installations and sculptures.
