Hanne Giertsen (born 2000) is a Norwegian visual artist and art teacher based in Oslo and Sandvika. She works with hyperrealistic paintings in which hands, faces, and bodily details are central. The motifs are built up through many layers of acrylic or oil, and are characterized by close-up views and precise observation of skin, light, and texture.
