Just another storm

Background:
Many agree that it is windy at the top, and few mountains emphasize that statement better – at least in Southern Norway – than Gaustatoppen itself.

I received a touching story from a young man whose mother had lived her whole life in Rjukan, but now she was moving, and perhaps I had a picture of the mountain in her heart, Gaustatoppen. I took this as "commissioned work", or on demand as we say in Norwegian.

It's not that easy – at the risk of repeating myself – to take pictures of mountains when it's stormy, but when you succeed, you often capture the mountain's unique character in the exposure. As far as I've heard, the picture hangs safely with the mother outside Rjukan somewhere.
