Stian Borgen

Stian Borgen (1984) is a contemporary Norwegian artist. Inspired by 80s New York graffiti art, he has created his own expression and can be described as a neo-expressionist artist.

His expansive and dynamic artistic language is characterized by fragmentation and reorganization. The starting point for each painting is usually a head, but subject to the colorist process, it often ends up in fragments. Borgen's artworks invite a dialogue where there is room to feel and interpret, to love and to hate.
