Bella Balle
Kunst av Edvarda Braanaas
The art print “Bella Balle” by Norwegian contemporary artist Edvarda Braanaas, signed and numbered in a limited edition of 30 copies. The print is available in three different sizes and is printed on two different media:
- Matte 308 gsm fine art paper
- 340 gsm canvas
“Bella Balla” is Edvarda Braanaas’ free interpretation of Gino Severini’s 1913 painting “Mare = Ballerina,” in which the sea and the dancer merge into a rhythmic and metaphorical composition.
In Edvarda’s version, the dancer emerges more clearly, dressed in an outfit inspired by Art Deco. The work bridges abstraction and figuration, giving the historical motif a new and modern expression characterized by movement, form, and color.
