Einar Sandvold
Einar Sandvold is a contemporary Norwegian artist. He grew up in a rural environment in Toten, a small place called Raufoss. He began his creative journey with a pencil in hand, in a world of endless possibilities. His passion for drawing laid the foundation for his artistic growth and expression.
It was a few years later, at Einar Granum Art School, that he found the opportunity to develop his painting skills. Here, he began to explore new aspects of himself and his artistic expressions, and quickly realized that this was the path he wanted to follow.
The architecture in his works represents something solid and constant in life. Within these forms exists chaos, stemming from a challenging past. Einar experiments with the emotions that arise when we are placed in the boxes and frameworks that society encourages us to exist in.
He creates a new brutalist and surreal landscape, where past and present merge into a colorful, harmonious, and expressive universe.
