Jørn O. Jøntvedt

Jørn O. Jøntvedt (b. 1965) is a Norwegian contemporary artist. He received his art education from the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, and the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Jørn is strongly inspired by nature, and his paintings often feature either mountains, forests, or both. He enjoys experimenting with various materials, from wood, acrylic, old car headlights, boat materials, to plaster. When working with wood, he carves the motifs by hand. This is a time-consuming process.
