Pål Daily, norsk pop art kunstner.

Paul Dailey

Pål Dailey Christoffersen (1994) is a Norwegian pop art artist from Larvik, but living in Oslo.

His interest in drawing and creating started early. It started with constantly filled notebooks at school, but it was only after a year of studying to become a nurse that he understood that what he wanted to do was draw and paint. He thus quit his nursing studies and has since completed a two-year education at the art school styrekejernet.

The inspiration for the art he creates comes from several places, but the foundation is the many cartoons and series he has with him from childhood. His art thus plays a lot on the humour, the colours, the clear lines and the fact that there are no rules for what can happen.

For him, art is a way of showing others what I love to do. Pål describes it like this " When I'm working on a picture, I fall away from everything around me, which I like very much. So I would also say that it's a kind of meditation that makes me focus on what I doing right there and then. "

Pål most often uses markers and acrylic paint on canvas or paper, but also likes to challenge himself with new materials and techniques when he draws his colorful pop art motifs.
