Kasia Przado

Kasia Przado (b. 1985) was born in Poland, but has called Norway her home since 2012. She now lives and creates among the tranquil landscapes of Sekken, a small island in the middle of Romsdalsfjord.

Although she had a formal art education at the School of Fine Arts in Seville, where she briefly studied architecture, her journey as a painter has been largely self-taught. Inspired by the stunning scenery of the island, Kasia's work reflects her strong connection to nature and her constant exploration of its beauty and complexity. In addition, Kasia is a practicing professional astrologer and student of esotericism for many years. Her fascination with the mystical is often reflected in her paintings, which are filled with symbolism that strikes deep into the soul.

Kasia's main inspiration comes directly from the natural world with which she is fortunate to live in symbiosis. Through her artistic expression, she seeks to convey a deep connection between all aspects of nature, also including the human experience in this context. She explores how everything is woven together into an inseparable unity; her work serves as a powerful expression of this holistic vision.

With a palette of colors, shapes, and textures, she creates an invitation to reflect on one's own connection to nature and experience it as a living organism, full of beauty and mysteries waiting to be explored.

Her work "Radiant at Heart" was shown at the last London Art Biennale (2023). Kasia also collaborates with Higher Art Gallery (Michigan, USA), where all of her available works were sold over the past year.
