Atle Østrem, is an artist from Stavanger, Norway. He now lives and works in Oslo.

Østrem's work often explores the intersection where beauty meets ugliness, combining the best of two worlds. Suprimitive, gourmet junk and beautiful are just some of the fancy phrases used to describe his style.

“The iconic characters are both playful and dark. childish and thought provoking. They inhabit an inner world and capture the often fleeting elements of daily life and emotions, which when we focus on them, have the power to truly show us what it means to be human.”

Atle Østrem does not consider himself a street artist, nor a fine artist, but something in between. Something beautiful.
